Visit outdoor crops

Our trials & crops of strawberry, blueberry, raspberry and blackberry in the outdoor production systems are open to visit. Feel free to approach one of our researchers while visiting the outdoor trials & crops for questions or explanation. The strawberry trials consists among other things about control of powdery mildew, resilient propagation, experience of new varieties and selections an different planting types. At the blueberry crop a pruning trial is present and beside that the use of air pots is trialled. The raspberry trials consists about the second production phase of double cropping with promising primocanes varieties. Last but not least propagation of blackberry plants is part of the outdoor trials. About all trials information regarding the set up of the trial is available in the beginning of the rows.

The trials consists among other things about lighted wintercultivation of everbearers, double cropping with everbeares, lighted cultivation with Junebeares, spring cultivation of black berries, strawberry growing on stone wool.
